MapleCashout is a static information site. We run no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no ad network, and no analytics script of ours runs in your browser. We do look at aggregate traffic statistics that our host Cloudflare produces from the server logs described below — visit counts, countries, response codes — but those are counts, not profiles. This page describes what actually happens when you visit, because “we collect nothing” would not be true.

What is processed when you visit

Serving a web page requires processing some data about the request. Our host, Cloudflare, does this on our behalf:

• Your IP address — needed to send the page back to you, and used to block attacks.
• Request data — the page you asked for, the time, your browser’s user-agent string, and the referring site if your browser sends one. This sits in standard server logs.
• Security cookies — we set no cookies of our own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance to tell humans from bots. Cloudflare states these are not used to track you across sites.

Why. Delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use any of it to build a profile of you or an advertising audience, and we neither sell it nor hand it to advertisers. Cloudflare also processes some network data for its own purposes of running and securing its service; that is described in its policy, linked below.

Who is responsible. Cloudflare processes this data for us, but that does not move our accountability onto them. We remain responsible for how your information is handled.

Where it is processed

Cloudflare runs a global network, so your request is normally served by whichever data centre is nearest to you, and log data is processed and stored outside Canada. Cloudflare states that it processes this kind of metadata in the United States and Europe, stores it primarily in the United States and the EEA, and may access it from anywhere on its global network. While data is in another country it is subject to that country’s laws, and courts or government agencies there may be able to compel access to it. How long it is kept

We keep no copy of Cloudflare’s raw server logs. Our separate outbound-link records, where tracking is enabled, contain only a random click identifier, the UTC time, casino slug, a fixed source-page label and the tracking-adapter version. Their purpose is to measure outgoing requests and match partner reports, not to identify visitors. We do not store your IP address, user-agent, cookies, referring URL or location in that database. These are recorded requests, not unique visitors; bots, repeat requests and failed database writes can make our counts differ from a partner’s counts.

In the main database we retain those records for 90 days. Daily cleanup removes older records, giving a maximum of 91 days while the cleanup job works. Collection must be disabled if cleanup fails. Backup and Time Travel copies have separate Cloudflare retention periods; deleting a row does not immediately remove it from those copies. The actual backup setting must be confirmed before collection is enabled. Tracking currently enabled for: none.

The underlying server logs sit with Cloudflare and are destroyed on Cloudflare’s schedule, which we do not control and which is set out in its privacy policy; we do not receive raw logs. Those logs do record the paths requested, including /go/ redirects. The __cf_bm security cookie expires after about 30 minutes of continuous inactivity; cf_clearance lasts as long as the site’s challenge setting, by default 30 minutes. We update this page before changing our data collection.

Your choices

Use Visit without our click tracking beside a casino link to decline our outgoing-click record and the associated identifier. This choice uses no cookies or JavaScript and does not disable the casino’s own tracking after you leave our site. You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work, though Cloudflare’s bot protection may challenge you more often. You can also stop visiting, which prevents any further processing — though it does not erase existing logs already written, which expire on the schedule above. Who is accountable, and how complaints are handled

MapleWager is run by one person, who is the operator of this site and is designated as its Privacy Officer. That person decides what is collected, keeps this page accurate, and answers privacy requests. Access to our database is limited to the operator through the hosting account. We do not keep player account details.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or complain about how we handled it. Write to:

How a complaint is handled: we acknowledge it, investigate what was actually processed, and give you a written answer within 30 days. A click identifier, if you have it, can help us locate a record; without one we may not be able to associate a record with you. If a complaint reveals that this page is wrong, we correct the page as part of the answer.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can escalate to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), or to your provincial regulator: the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec in Quebec (cai.gouv.qc.ca), the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca), or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).

Outbound links to casinos

Links to casinos go through our /go/ redirect. Where tracking is enabled, we generate a random click identifier for that request and send the same identifier to the affiliate programme in its documented sub-ID field. We also attempt to store the limited record described above. If a programme is not enabled, or you choose the alternative link, no identifier or record is created by us. The casinos you reach are separate companies with their own privacy policies and tracking — read them.
